1998 Daewoo Lanos SX review from UK and Ireland
"Good all round motor at reasonable cost"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Power steering box leaking fluid at seals ( unusual for lanos aparantly! )and offside drive shaft leaking oil slightly. Both discovered at 33333 miles.
General comments?
In two years, the car has been excellent so far as running costs.
Nothing has been spent on repairs in this time.
Unfortunately the cost of repairs for the two afore mentioned at a Daewoo dealer is horrendous. UK £850.
Have arranged fitting of re-conditioned steering unit and new drive seal at only UK £360 by independent garage.
