1984 Ford Capri Laser review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing at all! In 24,000 miles! Now has over 130,000 on the clock.
General comments?
Bought this car for £850, kept it a year, sold it for £750.
Cheap to run (30mpg driven hard), very quick (fast road cam), very comfortable recaros (from 280 special).
Best car you can buy for the money.
Nothing went wrong in 24,000 miles, it gripped in the dry (limpet) and was fun in the wet (black ice is grippier).
Only downside was police attention - lots of it!
Love this car - why can't Ford go back to making simple fast cars like this?
