1997 Ford Taurus GL review from North America
"A man made piece of crap!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
there is always something popping up wrong with this car! When I first purchased it, within the first week my transmission went out, I took it to the Ford dealership, and they kept it for a month trying to get the transmission working properly, It cost over $1400.00 to get that puppy rolling. One year later it happened again, shortly after that my electrical system went out! I don't know why this cars has had so many problems, from alternators to gaskets the Ford Taurus is a peace of garbage! Two weeks ago I had to have my transmission rebuilt again, it cost me over $2000.00 to get the transmission fixed, I hate this car I will never buy or recommend to anyone to purchase a Ford Taurus, "they suck"!
General comments?
I have nothing good to say about this car, even though I am a lover of Ford/Lincoln/Mercury automobiles, the Ford Taurus hit the bottom line with me!
