1998 Seat Cordoba Vario SE review from Spain
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The car is still new, but small things are making me crazy, for example:
Electric window lifter once was not responding
and the window was down! After first oil change (first oil was Repsol, then Shell Helix plus)
the engine started running louder.
General comments?
Very good car for family, it has big trunk and for its price is very comfortable. With small changes, not very expensive, this nice car becomes beautiful (double rounded front lights, alloy wheels and big exhaust).
Engine is very good, for its low power it runs excellent, I can drive in 5th gear with 1700rpm at a speed of 50kmh.
New exhaust gives her an extra 5 HP, and removing the catalyst also gives you an extra power.
Petrol consumption is OK, if you are driving in normal mode it consumes about 5 to 6 litres of 95 octane petrol, and if you wanna go crazy, prepare for an attack to your wallet, cause it can swallow about 13 litres!
There is no use in driving it over 4500rpm (max 5500), this causes extreme noise and in speeding has no sense.
If you have the chance, buy it!
