1987 Toyota Corona CS review from Australia and New Zealand
"A very quick car for the money, worth every cent"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I first got it the seats were very badly worn especially the drivers seat, but I soon fixed this problem by pulling them out and putting new ones in.
The exhaust got a leak in it from rust.
Under and around the boot seals have started to rust.
General comments?
This is my first car and has been everything I have needed.
I bought it for $1300 (Australian) for the purpose of racing it in super sprints. I recently took it out to the track and got it to about 150kmh just changing from third to forth.
The only mods I have done are a 2.5 inch exhaust back from the cat, and some 15 inch toyota cressida wheels.
The exhaust dramaticlly improved the performance of the car and I highly recommended it.
I have some future plans like some sports suspension, race brakes, and bigger extractors, but don't know what else to do. If there is anyone else out there that has done any other mods to this beautiful car could you please add a comment and address it to MIKE I would much appreciate it.
