1990 Toyota Corolla SX review from Australia and New Zealand
"A fast undercover sports car that's easy to crash, but your likely to walk away from it."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Attempt only if you like the handling of front wheel drive. This is a front wheel drive sports car.
Cheap paint and some interior features - corroded plastic let the model down. Nothing serious. My Sub Woofer rattled the tail lights.
Make no mistake this is a sports car disguised as a shopping trolley.
Personally I found it difficult to control the the car through corners at high speeds.
General comments?
A very tough car, solid and safe.
Will project you off the mark in a straight line quicker than a V6.
At high speeds steering is jumpy, having power to the steering wheels traction is lost and under-steer is not uncommon.
The spoiler must do something because it's not difficult to flick the back end out.
