1981 Audi Coupe GT 5S review from Australia and New Zealand
What things have gone wrong with the car?
All age-related. Water pump, replaced brake discs, driver's power window, battery.
General comments?
Beautiful car, owned from '96-'97, sits 4 6-footers comfortably, durable, not rust-prone, not very good pedal positioning (though improved since '83). Parts cheaper than I expected. On long drives surprisingly frugal for a 5-cylinder with a carb, so-so for urban. Too tall-geared, hardly ever used 5th (E) gear. Robust body.
