What things have gone wrong with the car?
Oxygen sensor's Failed once I got the car, no big deal, haven't replaced yet, but will get to, fuel filter needs replacing, spark plugs were gapped way out of proportion when bought, but put new ones in. No major problems.
General comments?
I Love this car, many head gasket problems for some, but not for me yet, (knock on wood). The car lacks power a little bit, but once I change the O2 senors and fuel filter I hope this is resolved... handles VERY well and is quite peppy for a 5 speed. I Love the neon's all my friends have them and have never had major problems with them my sister bought a 96 brand new when it came out and now has 115000 miles and all she has had to do is replace the starter. they're great!
