1990 Ford Tempo L review from North America
"Fix or repair daily"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well the front end has been completely replaced. CV joint, boots lower and upper control arms. Then the electrical started. This car left me stranded on a bridge on my way home to my fathers funeral. The alternator has been replaced 3 times, four batteries, all new plugs and wires, still it continues to lose power and keep me walking. The most unreliable money pit I have ever had. I would stongly suggest to never buy a 1990 tempo!
General comments?
Fix or repair daily. If you have money burning a hole in your pocket, buy a tempo. If you want to teach yourself how to be a mechanic and replace everything in your vehichle, buy a tempo. Turn the corner at your daughters grad and have the muffler fall off, buy a tempo. If you want to guarantee your child will be delivered in the back seat of your car buy a tempo. Take my advice, spend your money on something that will reliable.
