1986 Chevrolet Cavalier review from North America
"A car that's easy on the ears and body, but hard on the wallet"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The second time it was driven out of
town I had to replace the transmission
lines.
The brakes went out about 6 months ago.
I had to replace the exhaust from the
catalytic converter to the muffler because it became loud and was rusting out.
Although the floor boards hold water and never drain. I have to use a wet/dry vaccum to dry it out.
General comments?
It's got a decent interior.
I'm a musician and the acoustics of the car blew me away.
Customized it with some neons, seat and wheel covers, and floor mats all for under 100 bucks.
Interior is quite clean.
It's hard to peel in a front-wheel drive
vehicle.
