1999 Dodge Durango SLT review from North America

I bought my Durango new in January of 2000. In October of 2000 my lower ball joints went bad, and I had them fixed under warranty. The bad ball joints caused my tires to wear improperly, and they replaced the front two tires at no charge.

In February of 2001, I started hearing a noise in front end. Service department has been unable to determine exactly what is wrong with my Durango. They suggested it needed aligning. I had my Durango aligned. Another complaint about the noise, and they suggested I needed new tires. I bought new tires. I have complained constantly about the noise in the front end, and it is not driving properly. They can't find anything wrong with my Durango. I decided to have it aligned again after my new tires started wearing. It didn't take the tire service center 5 minutes to tell me what my problem is "bad ball joints".

I've had other problems with the check engine light and the Anti lock Break System light and they said it was caused by a short and put a new sensor on it.

At 33,000 I had to have a flash module replaced because I had a spark knock. This Durango has numerous noises, and the dealer can't seem to find the source.

I am in the process of trying to get my most recent problem of bad ball joints fixed. The dealer told me it would cost me $1000.00.
