1987 SAAB 900 Jubilee 50 year model review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Oil sender switch went pop!!!
Alternator stopped doing what it does.
General comments?
when i bought the car it had no mot and had been standing outside for 12 months. on the day of testing it failed only on a seat belt which had a tear in it !!!! so tell me was this a good buy ???? the car still drives as tight and squeek free as if it were new, and it is hard to believe it has covered so many miles. with it being a Jubilee, it comes with leather, alloys and the turbo body kit and it is the face lift version so all in all it is one sexy looking car.
Apart from the usual new tyres and servicing the other problems I can live with, as I think SAAB's are one of the most under rated classics that are on the road today.
But this is the end of my story as my car is now up for sale, as I need an estate and to say I am upset about letting her go is an understatement.
