1993 Lincoln Mark VIII review from North America
"I must let it die, but hate to let it go"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator bad after 65k miles. (Replaced under warranty).
Front air suspension out at 105k, rear out at 135k. Expensive to fix if not yourself (over $4000).
Major oil leaks throughout engine, replaced all gaskets at 112k.
Interior trim, seats, and steering wheel showing wear at 140k.
Needs front suspension relaced fully at 145k.
General comments?
I love the look, and over-all good reliability of the car, but it is expensive on the repairs! Would not buy another (discontinued anyway), may trade in for Lincoln LS if it fits my tall frame.
Car still starts right up every time. Great engine, the rest of the car can't last as long though.
