2001 Dodge Neon SE review from North America
"A high price with low quality"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 43,000 miles my rear wheel cylinders went bad.
At 49,000 miles my CV joints went bad.
At 55,000 miles my catylic converter was shot.
And most recently at 77,000 miles my lower control arms went bad after my extended warranty was up at 75,000 miles.
General comments?
Every since I have owned this car after 22,000 miles stuff has gone wrong with it.
I have taken this car in to be fixed more times than I would have liked to. This was suppose to be a new car for me and it was suppose to bring maintenance cost down for me because it was supposed to be of better quality.
My 91 tempo who had over 200,000 miles on it and still runs to this day with out half as many problems as my 2001 Dodge Neon.
I like the way the car looks and everything, but I hate the build quality of the parts use and its reliability.
Granted it has 81,000 miles on it in little over 2 years I still shouldn't have this many problems with a newer car.
