1991 Chevrolet Lumina Euro Coupe review from North America
"Rusty, but dependable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced front brakes at 137,555 miles.
Inside the roof's fabric falls down unless hot glued back on, which I had to do.
Bad rust spot between driver door and rear tire, and is starting to form on the passenger side (if you can tell me how to fix it I'd be glad to know)
All lights, but one have burned out in the heating and cooling controls except for one.
New starter at 139,000.
I had to replace the radiator at 140,015 miles which wasn't too cheap.
The alloy wheels peel to where they aren't shiny anymore.
Has some trouble shifting between 1st and 2nd gear when first taking off, the RPM will for to 6.
I can't just play the radio by having the key toward me, it has to be in the run position and wastes the battery.
Back seat-belts don't go back unless pulled all the way out.
General comments?
Always dependable when I need it.
Good gas mileage.
Comfortable seats.
A/C still works after 141,300 miles and is cold! But heat isn't working to well, but I'll worry about that when winter rolls around.
Smooth ride, good shocks.
If you keep up on it, it'll work just fine.
Good sound from the muffler when taking off.
