1986 Ford Meteor GC review from Australia and New Zealand
"Few things wrong, but easily fixed"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The transmission seal had a large leak. I had to refill the transmission once a week.
Sometimes the automatic choke gets stuck on.
T-bar safety button often gets stuck in, after pressing it in to select a different gear.
The starter motor is on its way out.
General comments?
Generally good car.
Good on petrol consumption.
Generally comfortable.
Easy steering, which is important to me as I am a small person and do not have much strength.
The car picks up well and it handles great.
