1985 Pontiac 6000 review from North America
"A tireless workhorse"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The usual maintainence stuff, mostly
A couple of starters
Alternator
Fuel Pump
Water Pump
Exhaust
steering rack gone by 150K.Apparently they all had this problem. I just kept driving it, but it is stiff turning left.
General comments?
I have put 200,000 km on my Pontiac 6000 wagon and the engine (2.8 V6) and tranny have been completely trouble-free. It is quick, comfortable, dependable and the repairs were relatively inexpensive.
