1997 Chrysler Neon LX review from UK and Ireland
"Disappointing result from a supposed quality manufacturer"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Indicator stalk has been replaced twice.
New door seals.
Front suspension (both knuckles and both wishbones) need replacing under warranty.
Engine is *loud* on start but quietens down after it's got hot.
Various annoying squeeks and rattles in the cabin.
Driver side mirror wobbled under speed, replaced under warranty.
General comments?
Disappointing quality of build. Dealer (Kings Manchester) have been awful - not providing courtesy cars when the car needed to be in for more than the usual amount of time...
In all, quite a disappointing car even though it's
excellent to drive the ride is *WAY* too harsh! Currently looking to replace but current dealership isn't giving good deals on new model Neon...
