1990 Dodge Ramcharger LE150 review from North America
"This is the best vehicle that Dodge has built"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Hole in the fuel tank... replaced with a steel 40 gallon tank.
Headliner is starting to sag. Will get it replaced as soon as I find a good interior guy.
The engine has an oil leak that needs to be addressed, but with nearly 200K on the engine I will probably end up rebuilding it anyway.
General comments?
This truck has taken me and my family across the country several times on vacations, I have driven it off road on several trails and have never been stuck. I have added a 5.5" lift and 35" tires with 4.56 gears and a 10,000-pound winch. It handles quite well for one so tall and gets about the same gas mileage now as it did when it was new. There is plenty of room inside for my family of 5 and we enjoy taking it fourwheeling in the sand and on the rocks.
