2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport review from North America
"JEEP CHEROKEE aka MY TALL SPORTS CAR"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This Jeep is okay except for the vibration that no one seems to be able to correct. Also the Jeep leans to the left. It is very noticeable when you're looking from behind and from a distance.
But overall Its okay.
Very uncomfortable for long distance trips. Back Seat is not Made for BIG People. The rear doors are even small.
General comments?
I absolutely LOVE the way it handles.
Having the rear wheels controlLing everything the front wheels freely travels as they are being pushed by the rear wheels and led by the driver.
Even Curve Handling is great!. I can turn a curve at about 30mph without leaning. Great for dodging potholes also.
At high speeds (80-95mph) my Jeep Floats on the highway. The tires make a lot of noise, but that can be ignored
by music or even paying close attention for the Barrits. Switching Lanes, you don't have to worry about whipping out of control. It just easily go over at those speeds.
A BIG plus is that you can see better than in a car because of the ride height.
The unibody also let you see all around you. The Wide Mirrors help too.
Take off is awesome. I challenged a Honda Accord at a light on a hill, he tried hard to stay neck and neck, but that powerful engine smoothly brought up the hill with no attempts to slow down. The Honda gave up!
