1999 Chevrolet Truck K1500 review from North America
"Reliable gas guzzler"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced alternator at 61,000 miles.
Replaced positive battery terminal and lug at 60,000 miles.
General comments?
5.7L gas engine is powerful, but a gas guzzler (15 MPG city/18 Highway).
Cab is roomy and controls are well placed, but rear seating leg room is limited.
Rear leaf suspension on Z-71 too firm even with Blisten shocks.
