1993 Honda Prelude Si/non vtec review from North America
"Why buy a civic when you can get better performance from a prelude"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only thing that has gone wrong with the car since it was new, Was the distributor. It went at about 135k and I know this is the only thing that has gone wrong with this car since it was new because, My friends father owned it since it was New.
General comments?
This car is extremely good at both handling and power.
Being the car has only 160hp as apposed to the 190hp on the vtec it is still surprisingly quick.
Plus there are so many after market items you can buy for these cars, Not as many as the Civic, but quite a few
I've added a Cold air intake, Header, Cams Cam Gears, Underdrive Pullyes and a Venom Intake and it is very quick now.
It pulls 13's in the 1/4 mile and Produces 263hp for less than $2.000 Try that with other cars.
As for handling I've added KYB AGX shocks and coil overs along with shock tower braces and frame stiffeners. This car is ready for the SCCA racing
over all what I'm trying to say is for the money why by a CIVIC when you can get a better car with more power and better handling from the factory and Upgrade from there I LOVE my car and won't get rid of it even if you did pay me.
