1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport review from North America
"I wish ford would re-make the 1970 Bronco"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Blinker switch replaced 3 times.
Heater. Defrost, Air Conditioning, Fan stopped working.
Leaks down through dashboard.
Trouble starting - got vehicle tuned up at 30,000 miles to no avail. New battery has not fixed the problem.
One alloy wheel was out of round from first day of ownership - finally paid out of pocket to replace at 15,000 since it made the vehicle shudder.
Broken climate control knob (twice)
Passenger side seatbelt will not release.
General comments?
Suffer though winters with this car just to get to summer so I can take the top off.
Other than Land Rover discovery 90 (which stopped selling here a couple of years ago) or older Broncos and Blazers - this is one of the few choices for a convertible 4x4 SUV.
