What things have gone wrong with the car?
I'm a car trader and have had quite a few 405TD's.
It is one of the best diesels around for the money.Fast, economical and very very tough.
This one I have has 186,000 miles and has no gearbox noise, no smoke on running and performs very well.
MOT only needed a brake pipe.
General comments?
These cars are indestructable. Okay, so you get a few fluid leaks and trim is apt to getting a wee bit rattly, but so what!
You are getting a car that can do 400,000 miles, is economical and reliable.
