1992 Nissan Maxima SE review from North America
"4DSC - 4 door sports car lives up to it's title!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace the clutch right after I bought it.
The Transmission was rebuilt right before I bought it.
I fixed my door lock timer, which activated the power locks.
I bought and installed a new column stock switch, which controls the headlights.
General comments?
For being 11 years old, this is one great car. The 3.0 190 HP engine pulls HARD and surprises me when I shift hard from 1st to 2nd that my tires regularly break free and squeal until I let up on the gas. I recently took a 3,300 mile road trip to Colorado and Yellowstone... the max handled like a dream and had ample power for some fun mountain driving. The cloth seats are very comfortable, much better than newer maxima's. I love my car.
