1990 Nissan 240SX Basic review from North America
"The engine that wouldn't quit, no matter how hard you drove it!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Power steering pump.
Muffler.
Antenna stopped going up and down.
Front seat broke.
Rear windshield wiper sprayer.
General comments?
Engine wouldn't die. Drove the car extremely hard. Engine was burning oil but it just kept on going like the Energizer bunny. I've never had a car that could take so much beating. It didn't care if I constantly redlined the engine although it had over 230000 kms on it. Bought the car for $2000 CDN .
Put in $2000 CDN in repairs (incl tax).
Traded in for $3250 for a 2000 Maxima SE.
I gotta say I was sad to see it go but the Maxima is awesome as well.
I felt like this car had a personality and would keep on going until the wheels fell off. Truely remarkable car.
