1976 Citroen GS X 2 review from UK and Ireland
"Very useable, unusual classic"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Oil leaks from return tubes.
Driving seat sag.
Driveshaft wear.
Wheel bearing wear.
General comments?
Acts like a 1600 cc. even tho it is only a 1222 cc. The X 2 model has "sports" engine.
Engine noise has been likened to that of both a vacuum cleaner, or an aeroplane!
Quite torquey, not particularly quick, will keep up with modern traffic and will even out-perform newer macines. Top speed 105 m.p.h.
Lots of room in front, less in rear, large boot. Interior a bit plastickey.
Sleek looks, with presence and great style.
Definitely a car with character.
