1994 Nissan Skyline GTS Coupe review from Australia and New Zealand
"Good solid car, value for money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The air con compressor seized.
Leaks around the rear light and boot.
Noisy transmission in 4th gear around 2500 - 3500 rpm.
Wear on the lumbar support on drivers seat.
Gear leaver shift boot worn and hand brake fake leather worn.
Rust on the rear suspenion bolts, easy to fix.
General comments?
Its not a bad looking coupe, good value for money. Sexy rear round lights..
Handles well, like you would expect from a independent rear suspenion rear wheel drive car.
Not too expensive to run.
Engine lacks power in the low rpm range. The rb20e engine is only single
overhead cam and has 130hp.Should be a double overhead and it is pushing a heavy car.However the rb20e engine is still fine for the job.
The gear box is smooth.
Strong, safe feeling car and well built, like most cars from Nissan.
Not a lot of room in the rear, but it is a coupe not a 4 door.
