1991 Suzuki Sierra jx review from Australia and New Zealand
"Unstoppable 4wd fun machines"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing major has gone wrong with it apart from replacing the clutch at 195k. however this only cost about 400$ drive in, drive out.
It is starting to leak a little oil now.
The seats are have worn badly, the springs are coming through now.
Spare part are costly. a rough door alone cost me $a220.
General comments?
These sierra's are unstoppable, you can thrash them all day in the bush, dive home and the next day not have a singal problem.
They are a better 4wd than most expect, mine, with 235 muddies will go many places new turbo deisel patrol's can't.
On the road it's noisy, but this is only because of the tires.
The worst thing about them is they are Uncomfortable, short distance there OK, but more than half an hour it's too much.
They are a rough ride.
Performance wise there slow! very slow. mines flat out hitting 120km/p. and if you have a head wind they struggle doing about 90.
