1988 Pontiac 6000 review from North America
"This car has got more moves than jello"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Torque converter lock - disconnected it and it runs perfectly. This is the cause of stalls after slowing down from a high speed. The disconnect will hurt the highway fuel efficiency.
Rack and pinion steering was replaced at 290,000km.
General comments?
A fantastic car. It just keeps running and requires such low maintenance. For the size of the engine, you get a fair amount of pep. A super-bad vehicle that I can depend on.
