1992 Ford Thunderbird LX review from North America
"A nice looking car with a lemon under the hood"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I first got the car it was during the week probaly Monday or Tuesday, by that weekend I had washed the car and dried it with a towel (the car was black) I noticed white spots all on the surface of the paint and thought it was towel lint, but it turned out to be the paint flaking and peeling.
I had the car re-painted and again soon after that.
The paint would not adhere to the car body and I had to trade it in back at ford.
The air-conditioning broke the first year I had the car.
The cornering lights on the front side bumpers stayed on all the time when they are only supposed to light when signaling.
The spoiler where it is attached to the trunk started to rot and rust a few months after I get the car.
General comments?
The car is quick, but I'm not impressed.
It is a good-looking car with lots of features.
