1993 Ford Tempo review from North America
"The Tempo is constantly breaking down and is a big waste of money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I was amazed when I hit the curb very slightly and found that I had bent the tire. I had it towed to my mechanic and found that I had bent the frame, broke the axle and something called a strut. I am a grandmother and a foster mother and had two children in the car when the accident happened. My neighbors and my mechanic told me that they had similar experiences with the Ford Tempo. This is going to be very expensive to repair.
General comments?
This car is a mechanic's dream. It is not very sturdy, nor is it made well.
It is not good on gas.
It is not very roomy. My foster daughter, grandson and myself are not tiny people and it is not comfortable.
