1998 Dodge Intrepid review from North America
"This car is a low performance car I would never buy another one"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well when I am on the highway I notice that when I try to accelerate the engine always hesitate. It takes forever to kick in no matter how hard I press down on the accelerator. There no need in trying to pass at the most important moments, the engine will never kick in. It might be the transmission also playing a part in it too. I also notice that my back windows get stuck very often. For many days sometimes I have to leave my windows down hoping that my car won't get stolen. I also have problems with the steering. When I turn it makes a horrible noise that alerts everyone that my car is a complete piece of junk. Also, my engine has blown for no complete reason at all, doesn't the manual suppose to warn when your engine is bad, well, it did not warn me anything. I had to spend a lot of money out of my pocket for a rebuilt engine, that is hesitating, tell me how frustrating that is. Have you ever heard of so much problem to a engine that only has 43,000 miles on it for a 1999.
General comments?
This car is completely a waste of money. I am wondering right now why I see so many Dodge Intrepids on the roads. They are getting built so fast that it costing drivers so many problems.
