1989 Nissan Maxima GXE review from North America
"One sharp and smooth ride"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The digital speedometer and tachometer have gone out at 96,000 miles. The speedometer on the windshield remained in work order. The problem turn out to be a modulator. The overdrive is beginning to slip.
General comments?
The all leather fully adjustable seats are seriously comfortable. The Bose stereo rocks! Truly a listening enjoyment for those who like deep rich sound. The body line is ahead of it's time, but is still a classic. With four doors and a roomy trunk, you have lots of room for guess or gear. I would recommend this car to anyone who loves power and luxury all in one.
