1987 Ford Tempo GL review from North America
"A great first car for a beginning driver"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Drivers side floor board and area around shifter rusted out.
Power steering pump leaks.
General comments?
Other than the rust no major problems.
The original clutch lasted for almost 100,000 miles.
Reliable and economical, but not real peppy or roomy.
I owned this car (until recently) for 17 years.
I sold it to a co-worker and it's still running strong.
