1996 Holden Utility VS series 2 review from Australia and New Zealand
"Style, performance and practicality all in one"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
No major faults yet.
General comments?
A very quick Ute. Especially with Pacemaker headers and 2.5 sports
exhaust.Ute also has a great note to it.
Being an S pack Ute came with bucket
seats which are very comfortable and hug
around the body well.
It has a modified
suspension:lowered on the front and
raised at the back with heavy duty Monroe shock absorbers. Works very well
and looks tough.
Interior is in the a very good condition.
No scratch or torn fabric. Nice color selection.
Has a positive feel on the road. A very
precise steering. Just like a Go kart.
Spacious cabin. And seats are very adjustable.
Motor, gearbox, diff are proved to be strong enough to handle an odd burnout
and a 220+km stunt down the road.
Auto gearbox is stronger and more reliable than a manual and shifts smooth.
A LSD diff sure helps to maintain a traction or lack of it therefor.
