1985 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale review from North America
"A great bargain"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well currently the car is losing some 4 quarts of oil per week yet no oil slicks have been found anywhere I park the vehicle at. It burns gas like we own Iraq. The transmission seem to "kick" into 4th gear for some reason.
When the car is cold the belts tend to squeal.
General comments?
This is by far the most comfortable vehicle I have ever sat in. It rides like I'm on a motorized mattress.
The car is a little slow off the line, but with a little TLC I think I can fix that has been told to me that I shouldn't have bought used after buying new, but let me tell you this car isn't leaving my hands for any reason or problem. The moment I drove it I knew I had found my niche.
I got the vehicle from an older gentleman who received it from his mother who must have passed away he didn't tend to drive it obviously and decided that the $600 I offered him was enough, so I took my new baby home and have enjoyed every mile so far.
The vehicle gets plenty of daily use as a pizza delivery vehicle.
