1994 Chrysler Concorde review from North America
"Good, solid car, but expensive to repair"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Air conditioning had to be repaired 3 times at a total cost of over $1000.
The electrical that operates the heat and air has a mind of it's own, slipping between air and heat at random.
O/S sensor was replaced.
Brakes and rotors replaced.
Worst of all, the bolts inside the rod and pinion unit snapped off and I lost my steering. Another $1000 spent, but a big concern in terms of safety.
General comments?
I think this car handles well and is extremely comfortable for a full size car.
Nice quiet ride.
Solid car. I was hit on the drivers side and the car had a small crease while the Toyota that hit me was a write off.
Love the power options this car offers.
Drawback includes pricey repairs. The way the engine is built, it makes it hard to get at. Labour costs rise as dashboard has to be removed etc.
