2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue GL review from North America
"This car is a safety and financial nightmare for the average income household"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission had to be replaced at 30,000 miles.
Driving lights flicker intermittently.
Service engine soon light comes on fairly often.
Vehicle stalls at low rpm.
General comments?
This car has become the most expensive vehicle for repairs and maintenance I have ever owned. The latest problem of stalling at low rpm, (approaching intersections, making turns into shopping areas with no power steering or brakes) has resulted in two close calls and numerous trips to the dealer replacing crankshaft sensor, fuel module, PCM, and catalytic component. The car still stalls! The dealer has no idea of how to fix the problem! I'm at wits end knowing I can't resell the car plus I am driving a vehicle with an unsafe problem that can't be fixed. Repairs have climbed to over $1500.00 and still more to come. Don't buy an Olds Intrigue!!!
