1994 Alfa Romeo 33 16V review from Australia and New Zealand

Rust in drivers door and below rear windscreen.

2nd Gear and 3rd Gear need synchro-mesh replaced.

This car is very quick for a 1.7L, and handles extremely well, even though it's FWD. I was pleasantly surprised with how fast it went and is a recipe to get speeding tickets.

It is quite slow up until 3500rpm where it really starts to pull, I have reached 110km/h in 2nd and by around 5000rpm the engine roars with the distinctive boxer engine sound.

Overall this car is a pocket rocket and has to be driven to be believed.

The interior is good in the last of the 33 16v models, factory semi-bucket seats which are great for fast corners.

This car is seriously underrated and a bargain, considering its style and performance, if you can find one that has been serviced regularly and well maintained.
