1995 Citroen Xantia SX review from UK and Ireland
"Excellent, economical, long distance car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Suspension sphere's needed changing at 50,000 miles. This was done by a Citroen specialist rather than the dealer - and saved nearly £40!!
Diesel glow plugs needed changing at 69,000 miles - this was done by a diesel injection specialist and I saved £100 over Citroen quoted price.
Battery replaced at 65,000 miles.
General comments?
Excellent ride quality - you can drive this car all day and feel very comfortable.
Have used this car to travel from England to Hungary twice now - it has never let me down and always returns excellent fuel economy - approx 46 miles per gallon.
The Citroen hydro suspension is really excellent, self levelling.
