1988 Chevrolet Caprice estate wagon review from North America
"Versatility and comfort at a bargain price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The first weekend our radiator clogged up and overheated the car. Dealer replaced at no charge.
Second week the alternator and battery died. It also died again 15 months later.
New tires, brakes, and complete exhaust
system.
General comments?
This is a great car if you have a large
family. The ride cannot be beat. It is very underpowered and the gas mileage could be better if fuel injection was used. I would advise anyone trying to stay away from the "minivan thing" to look into this car.
