1992 Dodge Dakota Club Cab LE review from North America
"This truck halls, gas mileage stinks!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well, as many of the Dodge products during the 90's the paint stinks. My paint is oxidizing and peeling.
Replaced odometer (unknown mileage now, I drove for three weeks before I got a new odometer)
Replaced muffler.
Replaced a speaker.
Bad front brakes.
Really bad gas mileage for a small truck (15-17mpg sometimes 20)
I commute to school so I have to sell the truck because of the gas mileage, I hate to see it go.
General comments?
One of the best small trucks ever!
Some of my friends have S-10's and Rangers, no comparison at all, period.
This truck hauls like no other. I have put almost a ton of rocks in the back of this truck and it had no problem (I don't recommend it though)
The acceleration on this truck is incredible. It has a ton of torque for a small truck, it gets off the line!
It also handles like a sports car, but gets the job done like a truck.
One of the funnest vehicles I have driven.
