1991 Nissan Pathfinder SE review from North America
"A tough and reliable truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The frame was built to light.
Floor seemed to rust to fast.
The frame had to be welded many times.
It is a little under powered.
New parts are over priced.
Body panels cannot be replaced without welding.
General comments?
The main reason I bought a Nissan is because they are tough.
I saw some else with a Nissan that blew the engine.
He ended up putting a piston out the side of the block.
While holding the piston he drove the two kilometers home.
The truck never died until he shut it down for repair.
Mind you it ran very very poor, but it still ran.
That truck was put through hell and back.
When I saw that I was sold.
Any truck that could handle that must be good.
The few draw backs are out weighed by the performance.
I find that they work great.
I never been left stranded.
I use mine off road and for traveling with no trouble getting to where I need to go.
If the few flaws were solved then it would be great.
