2000 Land Rover Range Rover 2.5 DSE review from Belgium
"A feel-good car, everyt ime I get into the car it makes me feel I made the right decision buying it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 127,500 kilometers the transfer box broke down immobilizing the car; it was repaired free of charge under warranty.
General comments?
The 2.5 BMW diesel unit makes it a very slow car, especially when accelerating. Once at speed it makes a very comfy and luxury cruiser. I'm considering a chip tuning set to increase power by 25%. Fuel consumption is at a very acceptable level, due to the same engine.
Although some quirky ergonomics, you get used to them quite quickly and then you start to appreciate the little details.
The Harman/Kardon hifi set is very good.
This is a car you buy with your heart and not with your head.
