1993 Chevrolet C1500 review from North America
"This is a GREAT truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator went out at 130,000 miles.
Radiator had a cracked tank at 150,000 miles.
EGR valve needed replacement at 155,000 miles.
Rear brake line rusted through at 170,000 miles.
Pittman arm needed replacement at 180,000 miles.
General comments?
I bought this truck to transport cars on a trailer.
After a number of small repairs, it has preformed flawlessly.
The 305 engine is very strong and pulls like a 350.
No transmission problems even when towing 5,000 lbs in overdrive.
