1998 Dodge Stratus ES review from North America
"It is a wonderful and spunky car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have had to replace the front brake pads, rotors, and back brakes and rotors, as well as the brake lines in the rear brakes. I had to replace the battery. I am having new oxygen sensors put on it, a tune up and fuel injection lines cleaned out.
General comments?
The people who had my car before me did not care for this car and now I am having to replace all kinds of things and treat the car like it was supposed to be treated in the first place. It is a peppy little car and even being over 100,000 miles I still get compliments on what a nice ride they receive and how the interior is still nice. I do believe the cup holders need to be changed. You can't put cups in there from the fast food restaurants. The heating and cooling modules are in the way and cups fall out of them. I don't use the stick par of the shifting unit much, but when I have it is very convenient. I take regular trips every month in this car to visit my boyfriend and I always feel comfortable in it and I feel it is reliable.
