1985 Toyota Starlet DX Sport Type-R review from UK and Ireland
"DX Sport Type-R!! Need I say anymore?"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The exhaust EXPLODED because it was awesome for backfires and I couldn't resist doing it like an idiot!
The car used to burn a small bit of oil because it was good for 80mph in second gear and the little dirt used to scream its head off, but it was a DX sport type-r so it could take every bit of abuse I gave it... it had a sport and type-r controller to adjust the sport and bring in the type-r whenever I needed.
General comments?
This car was toedally highly!
It handled great with my 14' Nissan Almera alloys... well 3 of them anyway. I couldnt afford all 4 cause I needed to soup up the interior with some tacky neons and lights and paint some switches silver.
I added some great seat covers and a lovely steering wheel cover to add to the jazz factor.
I really enjoyed owning this car, but I loved this particular gold Nissan pulsar 1.5 D.O.H.C 16v 4 door saloon that was local and I had to sell up and buy it. In fact I think I will do a review of that car too.
