1999 Vauxhall Corsa GLS review from UK and Ireland
"Top notch"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Exhaust manifold had a crack when car was purchased which caused the cars emition's to be to high (fixed under warranty)
Engine management light was always on which caused the car to cut out crankshaft sensor had to be replaced (fixed under warranty)
These things had not been noticed it was only when it broke down on me after 1 day of owning the car that these things were noticed so I am extremely glad it did as these two things are major and would have cost a lot of money to fix!!!
General comments?
All in all I like the car.
It is quite nippy for being a one litre
The interior is nice.
The seats are comfy.
And the colour coded bumpers and wing mirrors are very attractive. (Arden blue)
It has very good fuel economy 51mpg.
The only thing that left a sour taste in my mouth was the fact that the dealer actually deemed this car fit for the road with these things wrong, but it is running fine now.
