2001 Ford Fiesta Freestyle 5 Door review from UK and Ireland
"Overall a very good car for the money. Well done Ford!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Small creak from off side front wheel area when driving hard around left hand corners, or when the off side front wheel is heavily loaded. Seems to have gone now though on its own.
General comments?
Very good car, that has good driveability and performance for a 1.2.
The interior has the later black theme and the dashboard has the silver surrounds and looks very nice with the white dials.
The seats have a red fleck effect of which is pretty good and the drivers seat is height adjustable so the driving position can be set perfectly.
The heater is very good, (It lacks Air con, but I can live without it!)
The Radio/Cd player is perfectly adequate with 2 speakers in the back, 2 speakers in the front and tweeters mounted in the door handles.
The car has as additional to the lower specified models: Central Locking, Power Steering, Front Fog Lights, Colour Coded Wing Mirrors, Rear Spoiler and a High Level Brake Light.
